Prof. Tim Bliss, FRS - Adjunct Appointment
We are delighted to announce that Professor Tim V.P. Bliss FRS has been appointed Adjunct Professor effective March 1, 2018 for a three-year term.
Professor Bliss is one of the most eminent neuroscientists in the world. He is famous for the discovery of 'Long-Term Potentiation' (LTP), a process that underpins the life-long plasticity of the brain. His discoveries have revolutionized our understanding of how memories are formed, retained and lost. Professor Bliss was recently jointly awarded the world's most valuable prize for brain research from the Grete Lundbeck European Brain Research Foundation in Denmark for his outstanding work on the mechanisms of memory.
