Welcome to the Department of Physiology

The Department is centrally embedded in the Faculty of Medicine with strong links to hospital-based research institutes across Toronto. We also have close ties with the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the allied Health Sciences.

PHYSIOLOGY TO HOST BRAIN PRIZE WINNER

Internationally renowned neuroscientist Professor Tim Bliss FRS, one of three recipients of the recently awarded Brain Prize, will be presenting two lectures in the Department of  Physiology in early May 2016:  1) Physiology’s Macallum Lecture on Wednesday May 11th  (3 pm, Macleod Auditorium, Faculty of Medicine) More information ; and 2) Frontiers in Physiology (FIP) Lecture on Thursday May 12th (11 am, Macleod Auditorium, Faculty of Medicine).
